Timeless — A Retrospective

A landmark survey of six decades of work, featuring over 80 paintings. The exhibition traced the full arc of her practice — from the early figurative works of the 1960s to the text-inscribed, gold-embellished canvases of her mature period.

New works exploring the recurring motif of the solitary female figure — frontal, still, and luminous. The show confirmed that after five decades, her central subject remained as inexhaustible as ever.

Celebrating fifty years of painting with a curated selection of landmark works. The exhibition coincided with her receipt of the Lalit Kala Akademi Fellowship and the French Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres.

Sacred & Profane

Works drawing on Byzantine iconography, Sanskrit text, and the Hindu devotional tradition. Gold leaf and script appear for the first time as integral elements of the painted surface — language as ornament, the body as manuscript.
